About 401 Richmond:
Toronto's 401 Richmond St. West is one of Canada's most vibrant creative hubs. This old industrial building that has been transformed into a vibrant home for artist's studios, galleries, film festivals, charities, magazines, tailors, architects, theatre groups, design firms and many more creative people and organizations. It also has a wonderful cafe. The building is based on urban ecologist Jane Jacobs philosophy of "new ideas need old spaces" and the need for mixed use and diversity. For the first time in a decade 20 of the building's artists will open their studios to the public.

Organized by Erin MacKeen & Gareth Bate.
