Come Up To My Room Always a fun way to explore otherwise rented areas of the Gladstone Hotel, this annual Design Week weekend event features fantastic room and public-space installations throughout the building by artists including Gareth Bate, Fugitive Glue, Sam Mogelonsky, Bruno Billio and RAD LAB. A morning talk on disposability and an evening reception and after-party happen today. See listing.

Dare Night The Torontonians, a group of Parkdale teenagers affiliated with Mammalian Diving Reflex, host this night where participants get to draw the kids' challenges from a box and perform them for the audience. At Gallerywest. See listing.

DO Design As part of Toronto Design Week's Offsite programs, shops and cafés along Dundas West between Bathurst and Grace, among them Barbarella, Caffe Brasiliano, Ezra's Pound, Odile Chocolat, Porchetta and Saving Grace, become exhibition venues for local designers. Last day Sunday. See listing.
